Summit Manor participated in a recent scarecrow competition with our local Chamber of Commerce. The scarecrows are featured in our Town Square and will be an exciting asset to our community candy trail for Halloween!
Summit Manor is very active in a new quality of life initiative called Restore Me Back in Time. Each month our elders are participating in a dance video contest from a particular decade. In September we traveled back in time to the 70s…and won 1st place in our region!
Summit Manor hosted a sock hop for our elders and their families. They enjoyed good music and milkshakes. A good time was had by all.
Mr. David Scott is super excited about return home just in time to watch the NCAA Basketball tournament with his son. He is a BIG basketball fan and loves to watch the games in good company.
Ms. Geneva Bledsoe is excited about returning home with her dog, Lucy. Ms. Bledsoe came to Summit Manor after a hospital stay. She received physical therapy services while with us. She plans to return home independently. When asking Ms. Bledsoe about her stay at Summit Manor she states, “Therapy is excellent and the hairdresser is good as well.” Please help us in welcoming Ms. Bledsoe back into the community.
